Palestine comes to Frome Festival
An award-winning cult classic film will be the centrepiece of Frome Friends
of Palestine’s contribution to this year’s Frome Festival.
In Michel Khleifi's Wedding in Galilee, a village headman petitions the
Israeli authorities to lift the curfew for his son’s wedding. The army
commander agrees if he is invited as guest of honour… A deft examination of
the impact that the Israeli-Palestinian conflict makes on individual lives.

There’ll be a short introductory talk, followed by lashings of
mouth-watering Middle Eastern food.
