What an example of what can happen when people share a dream. Our prayers go with that convoy that it gets through and is delivered safely into Gaza. I fully agree with the sentiments below about the port of Gaza being open to the world and the peo…

Iqbal, This is so very sad that you cannot with pride fill in your actual country. When I was small we were always told about the Holy Land of Palestine...as it was under Roman Rule (we were brought up as Christians)...how very strange therefore to…

What an extraordinary statement by a British Military Colonel, He clearly believes what he is saying so we must conclude that he is sincerely wrong in the conclusions he has reached. One wonders whether he was in Gaza when this conflict was going on…

The Goldstone report is very clear...there were matters on both sides that need to be properly investigated. I have no doubt that certain lobbies will be working hard to suppress truth as it has for 61 years in Palestine. There are times when with t…

The poetry of David Gould bares witness to the tears of Gaza and to the dead victims of unjust military actions in the Israeli occupation of Palestine. David remembers the children women and men whose loves were ended or whose bodies maimed in Oper…

Dear David When the renegade Christian world allowed the second crucifixion (if we assume there was one before) of Jesus Christ in the "Holy Land", is it a wonder that the Huns they are paying to do the slaughter in their place shows no mercy at al…

The Tears of Gaza

The Tears of Gaza 2009

No one had the right to destroy this...
Palestine has been burnt into all our souls
the suffering has shown us all who prevailed
and until we learn to love our fellow humans
this anguished cry still rings out. "Palestine!"
Cried from the children, from all 400 that died
till all the world is filled with this cry
for a people that refused to roll over and die.

The children appear traumatized. The teachers say that when they hear a loud noise they look to the sky and cry out and weep. They don’t know what the future holds. They deserve better.
