A concert for Gaza in Trondheim.Norway
An overwhelming and excellent concert was performed in the cahtedral Nidarosdomen i Trondheim on Thursday February 2. Nidarosdomen is the biggest cathedral in Skandinavien and many of the ancient Viking Kings are burried here.
The concert aimed to gather money to the traumatized victims in Gaza and 1000 peoples particpated. More than 100 artists where on the stage. I find it very important that christian churches can be used to support suffering people despite religious contradictions.

Darrell Rankin said… - In Canada, our far-right, imperialist government is isolated as one of the few supporters of Zionism and Israel's latest aggressions. This is despite the Conservative Party's minority position in parliament. For our party, too, we place justice for Palestinian people in a high position; our members were at protests across Canada with our position in January and in all recent aggressions by Israel. Our policy, developed over many decades, is the most advanced of any party's and we include it in our election platforms always.
We are now starting a campaign against the economic crisis, which has increased the jobless to 1.3 million workers - probably the real number is closer to 2 million. The crisis is connected to imperialism's growing resort to war and its inability to resolve any of the major problems facing humanity, such as starvation, preventable disease, global warming, etc. etc.
In my city starting on May 1, we are celebrating the 90th anniversary of the Winnipeg General Strike, one of our country's greatest working class struggles.

The two norwegian doctors - Gilbert and Fosse - are heroes in Norway after their efforts in Gaza. I am proud to be a collegue of them.
In the biggest city here the demonstrations are continuing every saturday. Yesterday we gathered 1000 peoples in Trondheim.
