About Me:
M.T. Al-Mansouri, Ph.D. is an Ottawa, Ontario, poet, writer and researcher. His poems, essays and researches appeared in many anthologies and journals in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. He translated some Canadian poems into Arabic Language.

He was the recipient of various of the Editor's Choice Awards of the American International Library of Poetry for 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

His poem entitled Garden Zoo", was nominated as the poem of the year by the American International Society of Poets in 2005, and the poet received the Merit Silver Award Bowl. He received also the 2008 Editor's Published Poet Ribbon Award Pin.

My inspiration are all wise and scientific people like Alexander Graham Bell, Madam Cure, Mahatma Gandhi , Gamal Abdul Nasser, Abdul Fattah Ismail( Former President of South Yemen) ,PRIME MINISTER Mac Donald of Canada, Abdel Halim Hafez (Arabic Singer), Mother Teresa, Jesus of Nazareth (Palestine), Roger Garoudy (French author and Philosopher), David Rockefeller, Pope John Paul II, Che Guevara, Ahmad Matar ( the Arab-Iraqi Poet), as well as my immediate family.
