This is such a gorgeous collection of classic images of the Palestine that once was, the one in every kids Bible Story Book, and the land that now only exists in print, for the reality was smashed, demolished by Zionists.

Supporting the Cultural Boycott from Within

The israeli group, BOYCOTT! The letter sent by the group itself follows.

Gilad Schalit in Captivity - Israel’s Most Valuable Asset of Occupation

The youth in Israel are raised to willingly and even proudly enlist into the army. I personally remember being promised, by my high school teachers that if something happens to me, Israel doesn’t forsake it’s “sons and daughters”. It’s been a while since I was in school, but nothing has changed:

Smoke and Mirrors - On the Hardships of Self-Inquiry

Looking in the mirror is no easy task. Especially when your eyes are smoked by Zionism. Now that impunity is slowly diminishing, Israel finds itself stuck between the Goldstone and a hard place. How does the spoiled brat of the Middle East deal with the fact that years of stealing cookies from the cookie jar have left his face covered in damning chocolate?

Just Say No - Refusing the Drug of Propaganda at an Early Age

Israeli media is finally starting to feel the pressure. These past two weeks, the news has been full of the issues that activists have been working hard for and paying with their freedom for. Goldstone and the Kids

Anything that happens in my world, now, seems just that little bit more ironic, since Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Not that I credit the institution with too much merit, as I observe its list of peace-fakers, but the propaganda of this ill-executed award bothers me, nevertheless. While it’s easy to discredit Obama as an initiator of peace, just for the sheer amassing of dead Afghans, this year; I’d like to take it to my own little corner of the world.

salaam :) yes "habibi" is used as masculine and "habibti" as feminine when talking of a lover-but "habibi" can be also used as a general term of endearment for loved ones, family, close friends etc of either gender-male or male-(refer to some some arabic songs in which singer is ferring to loved ones uses "habibi" )
"The fabulous masterpiece of "Habibi Ya Nour EL- Ein", was written as a tribute to his daughter Nour. The Arabic word 'Ein' meaning eye... Habibbi Nour El-Ein, a very popular, crossover song meaning Beloved, you are the light in my eye'. This song was so popular that other artists couldn't wait to cover it. "

and:

"habibi
A famous Arabic word common between classical and spoken used in most of Arab countries. Habibi is either a friend, a boy/girl friend, husband or wife, a relative, or a familiar person to you whom you like in different way. Even if you are calling a person of the same gender, you may use it. "

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=habibi

however in some Arab countries it is strictly used for "lovers" with the masculine n feminine appropriate endings-while in others the term is used more loosely as described :) -being part Lebanese (way back!) I first learn "habibi" from that dialect which is much looser than traditional Arabic-xxxxxx <3

The children appear traumatized. The teachers say that when they hear a loud noise they look to the sky and cry out and weep. They don’t know what the future holds. They deserve better.
