Thank you for offering your friendship. I’m so sorry for all you have been through. Thank you for sharing with me. I have no words to express my indignation at hearing the stories Palestinians share with me. I wish I could erase your pain, but I can’t. I can only offer a friendly smile and my support for your struggle, in hopes that it can heal.
As for that girl, she doesn’t know any better. She’s been programmed to think you want to kill her, so she does what the army taught her to do- be aggressive, insensitive and inhuman. I always wonder whether I would have acted differently.
